My computer’s software decided to glitch itself into oblivion and I spent ALL DAY yesterday recovering this video and many other assets. Please let me know if anything is wrong on my end. But that being said, I hope you all enjoy the video!

Gotta say, that Gigant lore was something I didn't expect to find – really goes to show just how much story lays behind even some of the most "forgettable" mobs in FFXIV. Thanks for the lesson, Scribe!
A great video as always! You’ve become one of the best XIV channels I’m aware of with your close attention to detail and great writing and summarization skills. Hope you grow to be more and more successful!
Can confirm that I was more intelligent before going bald
Another good (yet hard) lesson learned with Vodka in hand, Teach! Looking forward for more of these as always. It does help in appreciating how much work is done lore-wise for the ARR dungeons. Now I can't wait for the Heavensward ones XD
Beast tribes usually summon a primal so help with their oppression problems. Hecatoncheires on the other hand be like “nah bruh, we gots hammers, worms and brawn”.
In that regard they’re suppose they could be seen as an atheist race?
I love how this also turned into an exploration into the story of one of the "lesser" beast tribes. I would warmly welcome a lesson on Mamool Ja, Quiqirn, Lupis(?), Goblins, or any other less discussed less humanoid races. Thanks as always, Scribe!
shit I thought I was already subscribed
I did find the soft timer on Copperbell hard with it burning up pretty fun
Keep going. I love how much I am learning from you!
>But that didn't stop Ul'dah fro mbeing the capitalist society we see it as
???
Such a weird nonsensical line to put in there for no reason lol
I hate this fucking dungeon
I remember when I first did this quest. It was then that I realized that this game was a lot darker than I was led to believe. ARR actually deals with a lot of things like this but many people miss the details because you e got to both READ AND UNDERSTAND both what’s being said and what’s being implied.
I thought you would make a mention of Dolorous Bear and his crew during the first part of Copperbell Mines
kind of wished there was a beast tribe quest with gigants, i loved their look when i first saw them and sympathized with the lesser giants., but cant get everything.
Being sold into slavery by their own kin.. thats so evil and so cruelly relatable to so many events in history…
Your videos are amazing. They give so much depth to some random content we get to do over and over again. I absolutely love it. Keep up the good work!
I just wanted to share — I found your channel a few days ago and I really enjoy listening to you. I love the way you present, you're easy on the ears, I learn a lot, and you help calm my brain to sleep. I've been listening in the morning when I wake up too. Thanks for doing what you do and please keep at it. I really enjoy your content.
You are good at this. Thanks for your dedication. Keep it up good sir!! If you can make a story that isnt your creation so personal I'd love to see you have your own stories to tell. I for one would happily read or hear your own stories!
Lalafell are the true villains as always.
It may be the worst dungeon in the game to play through (far as I'm concerned) but it sure has an interesting story. Really nicely told!
Well. My levelling roulette just got more intersting
Jeez, that Giant lore is even more tragic than I already thought. 🙁
Also, when I first saw the name Hecatoncheries, I thought back to how the ancient greek monsters of the same name were described by Overly Sarcastic Productions and said out loud "B-bro, I'm level 16, I am in no way ready to fight 50-headed-50-handed rock chuckin' giants 😮 ".
So I was relieved to see that these Hecatoncheries are lacking in the heads and hands of their mythic bretheren.
Looking back, I kind of miss when dungeons had a sort of lore/plot reason for existing. And not just like appearing for the sake of gameplay, not that I have a problem with FFXIV's dungeons is just that it felt like I was exploring the world of Eorzea through dungeons in ARR.
