  1. hmmm the towers are weirdly fleshy… I wonder if that's foreshadowing anything…

    Edit: that said as good as this dungeon end boss theme is…. I honestly feel Shadowbringers and Stormblood had better dungeon end boss themes.

  4. Ahhh, FFIV nostalgia… Paired with an ABSOLUTE BANGER! Also, are dragoon dates just going around beating monsters up while mutually tethered?
    Edit: He kept a GIANT EYE on his PERSON as a POWER SOURCE for a majority of his life. A limb isn't that much of a stretch.

  6. He may be stinky, he may be dumb, he may even be homeless, but he is literally the one character that can multiply himself into 8 to be an entire full party on his own and do treasure hunting, he is gonna be one of the most memorable dragoon in the Final Fantasy games

  7. A run detail with vrtra's design. His lower fangs, while he faces forward, cover both if his eyes.

    This means it not only hides his missing eye but also protects his remaining one if he is directly facing a foe.

    Yeah, Dragon Boy ain't one for cursed body parts, a useful trait for a DnD campaign I'd say. Although It still tickles me how he has the whole attitude of, "Okay I'll squash the bug if everyone is freaking out about it," mentality during that part. XD

    Just wondering if you realized who that "arm" belonged to, that Shtola saw 😡

    It's kinda clear, if you remember it when they talk about something. Just wanna know if you guys did put 2 and 2 together at the right time xD

  18. My theory for the "Arm" is that It's actually Emperor Varis' limb.
    [Spoilers for anyone who's following the MSQ solely via these videos]

    Y'shtola never clarifies if its an arm or a leg, just that it's a "Limb"

    In proper definition, Limbs are the arms and legs, segmented are the biceps, triceps, thighs and calves. and two of each is 8 pieces, There were 8 towers active beforehand, 7 after we disabled Zot.

    For one, When we DO end up killing Anima/Varis in the Tower of Babil, It also made the towers in the star disappear with him. In theory, the limbs are an extension of the malformed Varis and (in turn) since he was turned to Anima, his limbs also now manifested his will, making it perfectly capable of being a core for tempering while the aether being absorbed became both taken for Babil (and subsequently tempered everyone attempting to disable or get near the towers into the Telophoroi)

    And usually, a tempered creature would be very subservient to the will of that Primal. With the tower's tempered all saying "For Garlemald" and random attack commands. It's assumed that they're all reacting to Anima/Varis' command/will.
