I am still breathless.
1:07:10 The baby was getting colder and colder, like Alphinaud said earlier. Vtra's warm breathe calmed the baby down and saved her life
I spent the better part of Endwalker demanding headpats for people; glad to see Im not the only one. 🙂
Matsya and Puddingway are EW’s goodest of boys
I love how Fandaniel interrupts with the tone of "You REALLY should have paid more attention to the suicidal, homocidal maniac wandering close to the edge here."
It's looks likes Puddingway is a male.
I still find it irritating that they name the trial boss "Zodiark". I mean, yes, it is Zodiark, but the person controlling this primal is Fandaniel aka Amon. As he said before: without Elidibus as its heart, Zodiark was little more than an empty husk, only power but no purpose… Ah well, I guess it just sounds way cooler to fight "Zodiark, the eldest of primals", instead of "Fandaniel, mad ascian who doesnt quite know if he is Fandaniel or Amon – or someone else entirely" 😀 But I love the boss design, the bits and part of Zodiark that havent been restored because he isnt complete… a very nice design touch. However… is this really the form the ancients had in mind when summoning him? o.O
I kept thinking up to this point that Fandaniel had some means to strengthen Zodiark so that he even in his incomplete state would be able to do… whatever. But I also kept thinking about Elidibus: what would his death mean to the primal? Would Zodiark still be the same? A primal's character is shaped by the summoners – but Zodiark had a person who controlled him as a heart. Was would losing this heart mean to the entity Zodiark? Would he still be a benevolent, protecting god?
We can travel between worlds because G'raha's summoning was successful the way he had intended for it to work. Remember how he descibed it? Like a hole in the fabric beween worlds that would only fit us and noone else – not even the Ascians can do that: Emet-Selch took controll over a body in the First and shaped it the way he wanted it to look, cloths and all. Its this hole that allows us, and only us, to travel through at will – which is why the Scions needed these vessels to store soul and memory: they were objects belonging to us – and Feo'Ul already remarked at the very start of Shadowbringers how special/remarkable it is that we have such a strong connection to the things we possess (though at that time we thought it was just a lore-twist to explain why we can still use retainers). By making these vessels our possession we were able to safely transfer them back home. And this has nothing to do with us being Azem.
I was pretty much baffled at how fast the story would carry us to the moon (lvl83 no less!). I though this would be a place we visit at the very end, that Zodiark and Hydaelyn would fight or somesuch even though it made zero sense, even already back then. You go to the moon, learn about the Final Days, see stuff happen back home, and you are like "hey, but I'm only lvl85… holy crap, we're in for a ride" 😀
I love that the story subverts the players expectations.
Just realized Zodiark says "The end has come, and it will be -beautiful-!"
I'm not going to lie, the Puddingway bit had me struggling to breathe. Between the awkward way she says her name, Urianger's reaction and masterful recovery I had to take a few minutes.
"Spare the children yoshi-p!" made me laugh like maniac….
This entire story part made me feel terrified more than any horror thing, the pure lovecraftian terror, world ending in the most nightmarish way.
And… "THE HOUR IS COME VRTRA, ITS ALL OR NOTHING!" by the twelve I love how they put the cinematic quotes in game xD
It's not so crazy if you think about it. The events of Shadowbringers made it impossible to unsunder Zodiark. In that state he's probably not even as strong as Bahamut or the freshly summoned Shinryuu.
後面神劇情><
Xenos English VA stole the show man. He did by far the most impressive va work i have ever seen.
33:56 well… even further than one could even imagine… I never expect to learn what I learned so soon in EW
Me before Endwalker: "Finally we gonna kill Zodiark!" later "What?! This is to early, stop!"
Damn Quazii. You've got nerves of stone. At all these scenes most of us cry, yet you remain as calm as could be. haha
BTW. We only beat Zodiark 'cause we fought his fragmented form, probably not even at half of his real power but GODDAMN WAS IT HYPE! 😀
GOLDEN …. PONY ???? bruh share adress of your dealer that's good shit XD
21:40 did you get whose voice is that now ? ^^ who is happy that the planet lost its protection ?
Zodiark's existence prevented the Final Days, and with his death does it begin again
It's Zodiark not Zodiak…. lol
its interesting how we all seem to have forgotten Emets Story of the Final days in the end of ShB isn't it.
I thought zodiac was coming back like nidshogg later in the patches except later in the story. But since they said the story is wrapping it up in 6.0 doesn't seem like zodiac is coming back.
I love watching these vids of yours because you react so similarly to how I did. The whole "holy carp" moments, and the wondering how the heck they were going to carry it off. I can hardly wait to see the rest of these.
Honestly, I just loved that the Loporitts were introduced with "Alas, Zodiark is dead. Anyways, time for us to get to work!"
Like, we've spent so long with Zodiark constantly being the Big Bad Evil Guy that has constantly been this huge threat. And then we defeat him and these little rabbits are just like "Welp, now with THAT distraction out of the way we can get to the REAL stuff!"
