I watched your last two videos in regards to jobs. I’m a new player, and recently got all the DPS to 50. Now I’m trying to decide which to main, ninja and summoner are my top two. I’m a bit intimidated by both jobs but I believe that their class fantasy are the most attractive. The fear of not being able to play them at a high level keeps me from pulling the trigger and leveling one of them to max…. Anyway great videos. Do you have any advice in regard to practicing and improving rotations?
Healers in this game is so good. Coming from wow the hability to dps is a bit odd at first (I do dps in m+ but not raid) but definitly make things more interesting (Yes I do use assize as dps in dungeons trust and believe). Your heals are more powerfull in FF (you will also die faster from mistakes) which kind of tell you that the game is though out so that you could dps, I mean the white mage aoe dps stun ennemies and is the only aoe stun, which is really useful in dungeons. I used to waste some of my regens too, until I actually look at when they tick which was a big change from wow, and how powerful they are.
I do love using raid wide mitigation on my dancer, the healer in me is so proud
after watching this, i feel like healers have it hard lol

Maybe that dude doesn't enjoy tanking? Cause even in farm, things can always be done better? The damage ceiling may not be that of a dps role, but as I am a tank… I dont compare myself to those numbers, unless it's a bad dancer.

I am REALLY bottom level in terms of playing AST. I still use Aspected Benefic and Helios, but it feels very good to never have to use regular Benefic at least. And I'm trying to use the Aspected ones slightly less as well.

I think I laughed my ass off when I took conjurer and the story literaly tell you that you need to dps XD
ur taking what max is saying out of context when your talking about the healing. what your showing is "range of improvment" that is presented in dps logs and your talking as if thats the ultimate form of improving and or skill in wow and combining that with what max is saying about being stale and that theres no room for improvment. what max is saying that when you get to the top echelon of players, there is little incentive to improve. btw that point and everyone else, there is a huge margin to grow and improve (thats not just dps) and most groups clear savage in what, month and a half then they farm? getting cutting edge in any tier is abiiit longer then that and no one is farmng after 4/10 in a giving tier. and NO dps in wow as a healer is not a good representation of player skill or room for improvment. most of what healers do in wow, UNLIKE FFXIV, is healing. 95% of ffxiv gcd is pressing glare. see what i did there, i tried to imply or frame it like theres no skills done outside of that one button, thats exactly what ur doing and thats just not accurate
