Finally got around to watching the FFXIV Endwalker Job Action Trailer.
Was struggling to decide what to play going forward so watched the Endwalker Job Action Trailer to try and decide what class to pick as a main, or try and level up to play with.
Apologies for any breaks or stutters in the video, i think the recording messed up a little, hopefully isnât too noticeable!
After watching the job action trailer I definitely know the classes I want to try and play next â would love to know what you enjoyed the most in the comments â or join us on discord to chat about it:

Being disinterested in less flashy classes, then impressed by ninja, and then poo-pooing the constant explosions of black mage is kind of wild to sit and observe happen. đ
Sage looks fun and its play style is like most like a disc priest in wow
Actual SCH play is and will continue to be fine. My worry is all the people turning "wow SCH sucks" into a meme are scaring off people who would potentially enjoy it.
There's a group of people who continue to be pissed that SCH is no longer the same class it was during 3.x (ie a DPS class with a healing sidekick), and they're probably going to die angry and should be ignored.
The main issue I always have with the new job skill trailers is that for any job that leans towards support, or just flat out is support, it's hard to actually tell whats happening since the animations tend to be more subdued.
Marty: Paladin's not overly flashy, really. Pretty sta…
Paladin: So… wanna see my sword collection?
I think you have to play BLM at 80 already to see what changed and be excited đ
Last time I went with monk and dancer leveled both of them to 80 with the story. Now I will go with monk and sage and my 3rd class is always paladin.
3:47
Marty: "Was that it?"
Me: FacePalm "Oh here we go again" lol
Itâs okay to not have an opinion on every jobs, because at times it felt like youâre trying too hard to come up with something to say when itâs not really necessary.
a little lagg in this video i wonder if its just me đ€
loved the reaction to SMN Summoner lookin straight fire good pun đ€Ł
17:14 The facial reaction says it all.
Black Mage is a really hard sell. But the longer you play as it, the easier it is to make it work. (not "experience equals advantage" or whatever.) As you level, more skills and traits make the flow so much more comfortable.
"Last move is new for everyone"
Except DRK, the last move is level 60.
And Black Mage, that finisher is 80.
And Summoner, also 80.
Flashy doesn't necessarily equal good. Everyone is complaining about scholar, but I think it's too early to say anything. We don't actually know anything about how the classes are going to play when the expansion comes. There's the possibility that summoner will play badly while scholar might be amazing. We just don't know yet!
6:00 don't fall for it, DRK is just a budget WAR since its rework, the gameplay's pretty lacklustre
They mentioned that a lot of scholars' improvements were in fairy reliability and responsiveness (improvements towards fixing ghosted actions), but that doesn't show up at all in an animation showcase
Me: Sad SCH noiseâŠ
For BLM, that 5 spells in the last 10 second probably dished out 400-500k+ Dmg. That is some insane dps burst no other classes can match.
The flashiness of the jobs becomes irrelevant really quick. What sticks is the fun in the mechanics of each Jobâs rotation. All the jobs are fun and viable.
Keep in mind too that they don't show a lot of pretty cool existing skills for many of the classes
I've been a smn main since hw and I will continue to main smn!
"Not overly flashy"
PLD: Yes
Summoner 4 life
My heart and start were BLM and WHM so they will be my MSQ go to. But NIN,SMN and Sage are the first I take from 80-90 (70 for Sage )!
Dark Knight looks slow because it's not double-weaving XD
Am i the only one seeing the new aoe attack the SAM does at the start because i never see anyone mentioning it. Or have i gone through some Mandela effect and its not new?
