unlocking quest starts outside machinist guild if havent started the it yet on other jobs. equip skysung tool first accept pinnacle of possibility quest. then need to gather 750 hq mats from diadem pass em in to spanner npc in firmament to get 25 parts (black containers). item under skysteel tool section in gathering log. second part need 250 parts get em from collectables item is in same section skysteel tool in gathering log. both are in azys la for botanist and miner. rotation with full gp is same as aethersand farming. scrutiny meticilious scrutiny meticilious scour in 800/1000 meticilious if 850/1000 ageless words or solid reason to get back a gathering attempt and collect. scour scour scour collect if waiting for gp or add meticilious to try and save a gathering attempt. need 700 collectability to hit mid range 1000 for max 400 for minimum. pass em in to spanner till u get 250 white containers

First. Damnit I need to really finish the msq so i can do this stuff, on post stormblood (the burn duty).
I just use Meticulous and don't bother with Scour at all. The potential gain from the effect of Meticulous in giving you extra integrity makes it the better option in most cases.
