  1. This was one of the FF9 themes I was looking forward to hearing in Dawntrail–disappoint me, it did not! Especially with the amazing dungeon mechanics and final boss lol.

Now, bring on Rose of May and You're Not Alone!

  2. I hate the first boss of this dungeon SO MUCH. I play with the tiniest amount of desync, not enough to effect normal gameplay but enough that its stupid little minions can grab me even tho I clearly walked past them.

  3. The moment I heard this music I almost SCREAMED but my only disappointment in this dungeon is that Zorn and Thorn do not, in fact, make an appearance

  4. This song is so well remade for ff14.
I was incredibly disappointed by some of the other ff9 songs that seemed to have been used straight from ff9 without any adjustments which made… they just didn't sound fitting for ff14 🙁

  5. …I don't like this dungeon. Not one bit.

Love the music, though, I totally cheered when I heard Jesters of the Moon again. ^^
EDIT: Also, put it on 1.15x speed if you want something close to the original tempo of the song.

  6. I loved the atmosphere from the start, had a bit of a rocky relationship with the first boss in the beginning…but even on my second visit things went a lot smoother, I hope it stays annoying for the fun of it haha. Last boss is really cool, it reminds me of Bongo Bongo from OoT.

  7. I love this whole dungeon so much! The music, the mechanics, the opportunitues to use more of my healing kit… just chef's kiss 😅 (sage main btw)

Kinda sad our ff9 jesters didnt make a cameo, but maybe the red/blue calabrinas are their proxies.

  8. The second boss of this dungeon is the bane of my existence. What do you mean, I have to memorize TWO cups and then see WHERE they stop?! I am having memory issues! You cannot make me memorize so much STUFF! AAARGH!

I really have to rely on the other players for this mechanic, the moment the two cups are possessed by ghosts my brain short circuits.

  9. Hearing this, I did the longest deep breath…

Can you even imagine how cool it would be if Post 7.0 story is gonna go full on FF9 where we'll visit other iconic locations including their music,Just like how Endwalker did with it's post story where it also embraced it's FF4 nature.

  10. When i first first heard ff9 music in dawntrail, i said to my buddies in discord they had better have Jesters of the moon in here at some point.
When my sister had me unlock the experts and brought me in, the loudest gasp escaped my lips. So so happy this song made the cut ❤
