Poor YoshiP is as bad as I am
Game audio a bit low.
The voice asking for help when Zero collapses doesn't sound like her – they are evil about overlapping voice sections over unrelated scenes. The woman with G'raha currently stands outside the Rising stones and has a weekly repeating quest but will be given some new quests to hand out.
Lol, i agree i'll riot if they take Zero she's so badass!
The Omega Twins are there for the Announced 5th Ultimate, which will be based on the Omega Raids. Honestly i cant wait to watch the World First Race and witness the fuckery that will be the Updated "Hello, World" because ive seen what the Omega 12 Savage Version looks like and its terrifying
I am in deep on all my speculations on this one.
I'm still holding hope that Zero will be a new member of the main cast. We need more women in the main cast, most of the ones we had left or died off. There are now two that remain, Y'shtola and red Alphinaud. One of those two has a history of "dying" off in the story which is just a way to write her out of it which is frustrating.. x.x
Also, I'm so happy to see my goddess Halone in the flesh finally. I'm also glad they went all in with that valkyrie theme since that is one of my favorite themes in pop culture, the modern iteration of valkyries as beautiful female knights I mean. I really wish our chosen deity would acknowledge that we are one of theirs at some point.
That first-seen member of the Twelve with the blue pigtails has to be Menphina, the Lover. She's the Ice Goddess of the Twin Moons. This was before people realized the smaller moon was Dalamund and it crashed into Eorzea. She and Halone share the Heaven of Ice.
The other Heaven shown here is the Heaven of Earth, shared between Althyk, the God of Space/Time and Nophica, the Goddess of Nature and the patron goddess of Gridania. Althyk is the guy with the axe in the back and Nophica is the red-haired woman in the field of wheat.
But what I was most surprised by is the goddess with the spinning wheel shown to the left of Menphina. She's Nymeia, the Goddess of Fate, and younger sister/wife of Althyk. It's based on Greek myth, just roll with it. But she's a Water Goddess, and shares her Heaven with Thaliak, the Scholar and patron god of Sharlayan. So why is she here if we're fighting the Gods of Ice and Earth?
The more FFXIV trailers reveal, the more questions they give you. As trailers should đ
Omega Ultimate time baybehhhh.
You just gotta do all the other ones first o u o
i think "oh ive been waiting so long for this, dont disappoint" is cagnazzo, unfortunately we all know what happens to palom and parom after we fought cagnazzo, they turned themselves to stone, and theres a chance that we could get a mirror with alphi/ali and we have to find a way to cure it
If you want to lose your mind in speculation, count the amount of the Twelve we see. There are 5 in this trailer, shown in battle. With some reasoning you can figure out who they are. Nophica (red-headed scythe lady who isn't seen from the front, presumably because it's not safe for Twitch), Althyk (presumably the right man with purple robes, also seen horseback later), Nymeia (sister of Althyk, AKA the Spinner, seen in the black hole attack with Althyk), Menphina (little cyan-haired girl with the tiger), and Halone.
As for Omega… It's for the Ultimate. The theme that's playing underneath it is a new, remastered version of the original Savage-only theme. If you're wondering how hard Savage is, even now, for Unsynched runs, the common strat is for all the DPS to just kill themselves instead of doing a specific mechanic. I'm not joking, it's called Goodbye World strat and it's just "Tanks and healers take a cardinal spot, DPS jump off the platform".
