THIS IS AMAZING, MORE OF THIS PLEASE
As a mentor on Diabolos who stumbled into to this on my feed…Keep up the good work! You're doing fantastic :3
awesome!
another note would be make the effort to unlock pvp; specifically something called "Frontlines" (roulette accesible at 30) they arent terribly hard, hell i have almost all jobs and i still pretty much just button mash in there but doing them they are worth like half a level every day.
another note would be "Hall of the Novice" its rand by an npc known as The Smith (look by the inkeeps) you run I think its 8 lil solo events that teach basic gameplay/combat mech while the instruction is nice; thats not the point; the point, is the rewards…A full suit of armor called "the brand new <insert slot>" this suit of armor can be worn from 15 to about 30 by any of that role from here on out and it also include a ring that grants 30% bonus xp 30 and under, unlike the armor; it will be equippable at lvl 1
to go along with that, there is something called the challenge log; a lvl 20ish blue quest opened at the drunken wench its literally a 2 step quest that gives you a weekly bonus log that has theings like "do three dungeons via duty roulette" "do 5 dungeons overall" "do 10 FATES" each of these give gil and pretty sizeable xp bonuses, with a bonus 10k gil for ever 5 different ones you complete everyweek
Might want to hide your name in the videos to follow, easy suspension with all the mods lol.

I see you're a woman of culture
been playing since late 2013 but never hurts to still check new tip vids to refresh knowledge.
these are all excellent tips, especially the healer dps and venture NPC ones. i didn't use my venture NPC for a looong time starting out lol.
its also good to check items you may buy from a marketboard to see if you can purchase them from a merchant etc. instead of paying for the over priced items 😀
what hairstyle is that in the thumbnail?
Something very basic (and I mean VERY basic) is to use your map! When I first started playing, I understood that your quests will show on your mini-map if you're in the same area, but I was still getting used to the layout of all the areas. I didn't know that if you open your map, it will point you in the right direction if your next objective is in an adjacent area. While most dungeons are quite straight forward, you can also use your map to find to way to progress if you happen to get lost or turned around.
And in Heavensward onward, you get a little bit of exp for uncovering parts of your map in the overworld areas too!
Since you touched on the roulettes and the roles in need, another good beginner tip for tanks in specific is that your tank stance will TURN OFF if you are matched into a dungeon and your level is synced down. So for all the beginner tanks doing roulettes, remember to check your stance is on before you go rushing in even if it was on before you entered the dungeon, because with more than a whole year of playtime I have in this game I still forget that one myself!
