In this video I talk about my experience with final fantasy xiv over the last year and the different content I’ve engaged with. I had an absolute blast playing the game this year and can’t wait to see what I can accomplish in 2024. If you read this lemme know what your proudest achievement is this year in ffxiv!

I started watching you around September of last year. Like you I went from Destiny 2 to FFXIV it didn't hook me as hard as it did you but I will not deny they made an amazing game with the playerbase in mind unlike Bungo. I'm glad to of watched you when you came up in my recommendations.
I hope we have another amazing year! I'll be watching
3 years on MID !!!!!!
Last year, I completed DRS (shoutout to the PEBE Discord Server for their any-prog runs; I'd rec checking them out if you're willing to go to Primal), and as of this morning I've completed all of the Zodiac relic weapons. Those two are my proudest accomplishments, even if the majority of the Zodiac weapons' time was "hover in a map waiting for a FATE to spawn".
This year, I'm hoping to clear my first on-tier savage fight in the form of the Arcadion raids. I was finally out of Endwalker in time for the Abyssos raids, but I main healer and the community consensus was "this tier is brutal on healers" which scared me away.
Looking forward to more of your content through this year!
I’ve played for 5 years and haven’t stepped foot into savages or ultimates. Got to the point where I’m running out of stuff I wanna do & All my friends have pretty much stopped playing too. I hope dawntrail is good.
also came from d2 raiding and starting dabbling in ff14 like two and half years ago. this game goes crazy but i cant get over the anxiety and frustration of pf prog. cleared enough to know i like savage raiding, but pf is a doozy
Its great to hear how much you accomplished especially since your TEA/UWU videos were one of the sources of encouragement to get me into clearing ultimates. Looking forward to seeing/watch what you accomplish this year.
So far my proudest accomplishment has been clearing 4 of the 5 ultimates. I just need to clear TOP (god help me) and finish doing reclears on DSR and UCOB to get all the tank weapons. This year i definitely plan on getting TOP done and over and also work on soloing HoH as GNB and beat all the bozja duels legit as well.
always amazed how different kinds of content suck in different kind of people, no matter if its pvp, eureka or bozja, crafting, the plenty of saucer content or like me, fishing
thats the big big beauty of ff14, you can do so much, but you are not gettin punished if you dont.
Thanks for all the vids this past year! Glad you're enjoying MHW also!
Congrats on all of your accomplishments this year! I discovered you right around the time you stumbled upon Blue Mage. It's been fun watching you discover and exploring all these different pieces of side content and your experiences with them.
For me, my greatest accomplishment was definitely beating TOP. I've never tried to clear an ultimate during the patch it came out. It was a BRUTAL 3 months of prog, but our static managed to clear right before 6.4.
This year, I'm hoping to get my EO solo clear and finish the Omega and Eden raids on BLU. (O12S has been surprisingly tricky, but very fun!) I might also try to clear DSR once I'm ready to get back into raiding. It's the only ultimate I haven't beaten and it looks like a fun fight.
It's honestly funny but you and I had the same upbringing. I am also a D2 refugee if wanna put it that way lol. We started the same time and must say you are an inspiration for me to finally do some of this stuff.
I also moved from D2 to FFXIV about 5 months ago and it was fantastic. When i got to 3.3 I knew I was gonna be hooked to the story unlike anything else before. I recently hit my first 1k hours mark, and im having so much fun with all the content ive yet to do. I worked my way through all the Extremes and am really excited to try the current tier on savage this weekend. I dont quite deteste destiny, and Ill always be there to give the new raids a shot on day 1, because those just scratch a specific itch for me. I love how FFXIV doesnt make me feel like i have to really sweat to get anything of importance done, but theres still an outlet for me to surpass greater challenges when I feel like it. Im super excited to see what Dawntrail is going to do with the game and I cant wait to be there for a new DLC with everyone else as excited as I am.
I really enjoy these videos. You were the reason why I got back to eureka and got my ozma mount. And being honest, I really enjoyed the grinding there.
Like you said raiding too much can make you tired of this game, so I took a break and played a lot of BG3 to just go back and finishing getting all EW extremes mounts, getting all TT card and the mount, finishing bozja and eureka, getting relics from all the expansions, getting pvp mounts and complete the pvp series, finishing deep dungeons and getting my blu log finished. Right now I am just progging my first ultimate and getting all my jobs to level 90.
I hope you keep doing these videos and have another amazing year and now with the release of Dawntrail lets hope you channel keeps growing.
Great job! It's been goo to see your progress in the game! I look forward to seeing what you get up to this year with Dawntrail's release too
Eureka is still my favorite content in XIV. I wish Bozja was even half as good, the problem with Bozja for me is that it is always fates all the time. In Eureka you would just spend 10-30 minutes grinding normal mobs just to pop an NM, but in Bozja there is a fate at most after one minute of down time. Stromblood is the only expansion that I have more than one completed relic for, and that is including Endwalker's easy relic I wont get a second of those because they are too easy to get. I hope that Dawntrail's exploration content is more like Eureka and less like Bozja, we have the shared fate system to compensate for a more relaxed exploration zone.
