  1. "Wanna be a our little pog champ" one we use to use when we needed a extra. one thing we did always welcome new people, if we wipe we wipe it learning curve for the new person. Raid group had a quote "we all learn from somewhere"

  2. Just found this channel since I'm brand new to the game and don't want to piss off other players. Watched 3 vids in a row! Very helpful. Subbed.

    (You're very cute too)

  3. Kind off reasons why im not enjoying to play FFXIV anymore. PF is toxic mess.
You spend week trying find practice parties to learn all phases and in the end, you didnt get anywhere, because you spent more time looking for those parties than actually practicing.
People ignore pf comments, people leaving at first signs of trouble, people complaining your practice party doesnt have enough dps….too old for this shit.

  4. When E5S came out, coronavirus was already a thing, just it hadn't broke out in the US yet but people were talking about its presence in China and spread to other countries.

  5. Seen a Chain of like 5PF being ''will stand next to you for gil'' the next one being ''will stand next to the guy standing next to you'' etc… and a last one was ''i won't stand next to you but i'd like the gil'' legit one of the funniest thing for me after 1month and a half of playing. Oh and the ''looking for insert race name husband/wife, will compensate for the time''. I didn't know prostitution was a thing tbh in ff14

  6. I recently rejoined the game. Trying to catch up, I joined an e9s 'practice, be patient' party. You could see it was a group of friends on discord teaching the fight to their friend.
I got kicked after failing mechanics.
Turns out it was a 'be patient for us, but we won't be patient for you' party.

  7. This whole watch a guide instead of talking to ppl and help them to understand drives me crazy, it seems ppl have forgot to talk to each other, and if you tell me the duty finder is the reason why ppl gives a shit, they rather kicks you for asking for help and if you tell me the duty finder produces that cinde of mindset where ppl gets exchangeable, with an sng at least you need to talk to ppl and intrract with them to build a group.

  8. I kinda fall under the blind category, a big reason why is whenever the groups say to watch a guide, they don’t post an actual informative guide for the boss fight, it’s always one of their YouTube channels, and I just see it as a crappy way for them to get views.

  9. A lot of the groups I find on PF are what I like to call the "One Person Pivot" or "Soul Crushing Responsibility" group. It's always:

    1 Experienced player. Occasionally me.
1 Completely clueless player who no-one knows.
The rest 50-80% know what they're doing. Most have clears.

The entire completion often depends entirely on the 1 clueless player learning the fights on the run, which they usually do; just at varying speeds. I've had a run where after a wipe the newer player watched a clear of the fight at 2x speed and got ~70% of the mechanics perfectly afterward.

The other type is usually the "Yeah We Got This" group. Maybe a little overconfident at times but legit, super chill. Usually just varied levels of experience, geared appropriately and just willing to wipe, say okay, what killed us? adjust and keep going until either clear or IRL stuff ends the run. Time literally melts away in these groups and they're generally a lot of fun. You make friends (if you want to) here.

  10. i prefer blind cuz watching a guide is boring and i learn faster by doing but not that many others do it that way and the ones who do have been in FF for alot longer then me and thus are out of my reach so alas im stuck wanting to sav run with no pplz to do it with
