The only MMO I've ever seen people receptive of comparison is FF11.
But the game play was MUCH slower, but at the same time because you were forced to basically party and grind you got to interact with the community much more.
I seriously wonder if the HW story is better if you play a taller character. All those damn elves tower over my minimum height lalafel and don't get me started on that pervert Aymeric trying to wine and dine an eight-year-old.

When I started the game I used to talk about how people attracted to lalafells are weird cuz they look like children. And a lot of people would say "they look like children but they aren't children" and attack me for it.
It only strengthened my take on it cuz sheesh that's a weird argument.

I don't think I've ever heard you pull it you tank it in 14. I have heard it alot in other mmos. Especially city of heroes way back when.

You can't criticise job design unless it's dark knight or saying "lol glare mage has no mp" or if you're japanese hating that samurai has cast times for some reason.
I'm a drk, not only do I consider my job easy, but I consider it a travesty and would honestly prefer if it was deleted in it's entirety.
I’m not the type to say « you pull it you tank it » but I must admit, a dps going for the all the mobs while the tank is clearly not at ease with bug pulls, will not receive a single heal from me 🙂

I personally find ff14 challenging. But then some people say it's easy. I find playing at a high level in fighting games is easy most of these people saying this game is easy don't know what basic movement like shimmy or footsies is in fighting games
