Below ~1421 SpS you will need to weave in Swiftcast under Triplecast in order to get to the Despair in time. Very low spell speeds can feel especially difficult to achieve at higher pings.

  1. Thank you for making this video. I haven't touched BLM since the beginning of the expansion and typically do not use it because I know I am expected to have DPS on the higher end and always decide to go with jobs I am more comfortable with because of my lack of experience. This will help me practice and feel better about getting some reps in with BLM.

  3. This is immensely helpful. 😃 Important to note for anyone trying the "No B4 Opener," AkhMorning's BLM page states that below 1421 sps you need a Swiftcast Fire IV. I know they suggest you use what works for your latency as well. As a specific rule of thumb, I find it's necessary (for max rotation comfort) to use Swift anywhere under 1929 sps (2.62/2.81 Fire IV/Despair cast time) unless your latency is PERFECT. It can be used any time during your Triplecast Fire IVs. That extra .12 second GCD without Swiftcast can make or break your opener and we all know that's ugly… 😭 Excellent guide though, FINALLY (😫) got that 5th Fire IV down! 👍🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏼

  5. Sorry to interrupt u mate, but you openers arent really correct. Fürst Blumier might be a nive Person but he is far away from be one of the best BLm around. His Logs are not even over 80… I asked him a lot from German to German player becuase i didnt understand all of the English Guides. For example: Furst Blumier is saying its better to Drop you Thunder dot and hope for the Thunder proc, he is the only BLM who says that. Well that to Fürst Blumier. Now we move to the Openers. Yeah nice copy pastet from the Balance discord i would say, but heavily misstake are done. Almost every Topraider even eksu himself are using Mod JP opnere in almost every raidfight right now, with under 2000 SPS. Its for the most fights the best opener for BLM, you can even modify that opener more and jump with transpose and a T3 proc directly back from ice to firestance. that opener is missed and same often used by the top players. JP opener is an opener which not really any blm is using just becuase your LL are so fucking deleayed and the BLM himself ist almost out of his firestance…not see any blm do this opener the last 3 years. The No B4 opener ist the most used opener among the non raiding BLM, almos every Raid is replacing the no B4 with the more comon T3 opener^^ and whats the most important for an new BLM opener: You totaly forgot why which opener is used in which fight and whats strond and weak in the openers^^ so far im out, maybe you should ask Eksu or some top 100 Blm instead of fürst blumier wo didnt hit any place under top 1000 this raiding content^^
