  1. Can't look at Gaius the same after this series😭

They reccomended doing Omega before Endwalker, so I hope that's soon for you guys! But don't burn yourselves out! Take a break before the expansion if you guys need it!!!❤

  2. well we can say that Valens went with a pop 🤣 . The Werlyt story overall was pretty good, I think right now off the checkist you're missing omega and maybe the benchmark trailer? Also we have a live letter on the 5th which MAY include the official Endwalker Launch trailer.

  3. The writing in this game is so damn good, I can't think of a game where I have ever been so emotionally attached to so many different characters but not only that, they make me emotionally attached to characters I never would have thought I'd ever care about. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go find who is cutting all those damn onions

  4. As emotionally raw as the final cutscene is a whole, I think the look back from Milisandia just after 31:06 and the way it implies that it's not just their memories but their souls as well that are being released into the town, that's the real emotional gut punch for me. Also, as a side note: if you return to Terncliff after that and hang around the trees near the walkway that the memorial is on, pay attention to the kids playing hide-n-seek and their dialogue bubbles.

  5. I love the whole Fullmetal Alchemist vibes, the mind (or in this case brain) of Alphonse attached to what amounts to a suit of robot armor. Which is what happens to Alphonse Elric, the younger brother, in the show. Wouldnt surprise me if that didnt play some inspiration, considering the name.

    FYI Alphonse = Al-Fonz

  6. worth noting for if you two feel like trying your hand at on-level extremes while you still have a chance before endwalker: diamond ex is only a little harder than the normal version, there's only 3 real big differences, that you can only teleport side-to-side every 20 seconds, and that most of the big aoes aren't telegraphed on the ground, plus one completely new mechanic in the third phase

  7. Easy to miss fun-fact: Alphonse and Allie are actually blood-related siblings, shedding a little light on their bond in particular. Someone else also mentioned this but I will as well, go back to Terncliff and watch closely at the kids playing hide-and-seek around the area.

  8. Fun Easter egg. If you go to the town sometimes u can see the ghosts of the kids around the town. It's pretty touching. And to think this story is an optional side quest. This is better than some full length games in all honesty.

  9. I've worked with youth for 9 years, and this questline simultaneously made me so angry, and broke me into tears harder than any other moment in the game. It's so well done, and i wish it had been voiced so so bad. Thank you for sharing your experience with it, love all your content <3

  10. So glad the two of ya got to squeeze in this questline, cause you know Gaius is gonna have a role to play soon, and knowing only the enigmatic Gaius before this would be selling him short. Great playthrough!

  11. Ever since Stormbood I always wanted Gaius to get his redemption arc and I m so glad he got the starting point of it. This was the best 8 man raid series. I would love to see Gaius come part of the Scions eventually and have him fight along side us.

  12. This story was heart wrenching. Very Gundam and EVA in themes and darkness at times. A few tears were shed for Gaius, Allie and her brothers and sister.

As a side note, I am fully expecting Gaius to become a political leader in the next expansion. If he ends up as the Emperor I would not be surprised, but I expect it would more likely be some other sort of political body in Garlemald by then (if it even exists).

  13. "Terminus Est" means "This is the end/limit", and "Crocea Mors" has a double meaning – literally, it's "Yellow Death", but historically, it was the name of Julius Caesars sword.
