When I did this quest, I found no hatred for her mother, just pity and disgust. She’s not a fervent woman of the faith, just another zealot. The betrayal really broke her and tried to convince herself that removing any shameful vestiges of her old life, daughter included, was Halone’s will. The lengths people would go through.
The only thing I truly regret is that Rielle will never get back what she once lost: a mother’s love. But she will have a companion to help her walk down her new path in life. Such is the duty and burden of the Dark Knight.
Really, I’m not bothered by the fact that she was cut down by Sidurgu. We’ve seen on screen murder before. If anything, if he didn’t do it, I would have.
the dark knight story is the best in the game , they even make the writer to become the main writer for shadowbringers~

I think Sid was hesitant at first, but after Rielle said those words, its like "Sid, I give you permission to kill her." Lol.
My DRK also just reached 61 and finished this quest. Thanks to your stream, it motivates me to level up DRK
FFXIV killing people? What? Never…(Warrior of Light hiding all the bodies behind his back)…..but in all seriousness this game kills A LOT of people. Some important, some not. But wherever the Warrior of Light goes, death is never far behind.
Hopefully Albs wont neglect the next job quests past 60+ and miss out on useful skills and spells 😂
