  1. It's because base hard slash is the worst a imation ever and makes no damn sense. I really hope they give dark knight an upgraded hard slash just to replace that awful animation

  2. As someone with thousands upon thousands of hours wasted playing just Dark Knight, I fucking hate DRK's animations. Please for the love of fuck, SE, implement something akin to this mod.
    As far as this mod goes, much of it feels like it would clash with what Dark Knight is supposed to be, as this leans more into Reaper's "chaotic bloodthirsty monster that could lash out at anything in the vicinity" vibe than DRK's thematics of controlled, decisive, hatred with a greatsword.
    But even then, what DRK currently is doesn't even really match up with the lore. Doesn't exactly go counter to the premade lore, but it sure as hell doesn't push it forwards in any fun way.

  3. You know how dangerous this stuff is to post you naughty man. We can't have people realizing how easy it is it change textures, meshes, and animations frameworks. They might ask us to do it and then we might have to spend some resources and hire more people and can't fund flops like forspoken and we just cant be having that now can we? For real though they need to go out and record some better combat sound effects more thumps and bass and less bells and tinging sounds. We can get full orchestral pieces but they can't rent a range for a day for some decent mch sounds or buy some swords or record a HEMA match for a richer soundscape.

  4. I think the effects are a bit over the top but still really cool. But what gets me is the names of the abilities. I hope someone steps in and helps with the renaming process because half of the abilities sounds like ability names a 12 year old would come out with that doesn't fit the visual at all ^^

  5. Considering DRK is all about these short bursts of damage where they go absolutely ham and become a blue DPS for a minute, it would be fitting to change some of the class's animation to be more "fast & brutal" if that makes sense
