On this day 14 years ago, April 8th 2010, I was fortunate to be able to step into the game FINAL FANTASY XIV for the first time, as part of the closed alpha test of Version 1.0.
With this video, I want to say THANK YOU to all the amazing people I met through this game during these 14 years.

  1. This video took about five months to create. It was the very first time I did an animation video. From learning how to even animate, story boarding, writing, drawing and composing, I have learned so much!
    The original idea would have produced a video about twice as long. But the release date was firmly set for the anniversary and slowly but surely, some scenes had to be cut. Therefore, if you're wondering, why this and that is not in the video, I just didn't have the time to include all of it. One day, I will revisit this first idea and create what I truly had in my mind. Please look forward to it!

    Oh, and if you think the sound is a bit… rough… While I did animate on the video for five months, ALL of the sound was done in the last TWO DAYS <_<;; I just didn't have the time beforehand XD

    Thank you again, if you read all of this, as well as the actual video description. This was simply a labour of love, a gift of admiration to the people that brought me so much joy during the past 14 years. And if it put a smile on your face, then all the better.

    Oh and last but not least, yes, I am still looking for a raid group for Dawntrail. I play on Balmung, however I am European and therefore my times are a bit weird…. But I can adjust to some degree! I mainly play BLM and GNB, although other jobs are also possible if needed. You can find me on Discord as Miingno
