So Koe, to be fair to you, Stack Markers weren't really a thing until Heavensward originally. The general idea is players are supposed to see the arrows pointing inwards and go 'We need to go towards this person'. Most non-Hardcore mechanics either summarize the buff if you can view the buff on the bar; or by looking at howthe mechanic's art portrays itself.
Chat is so funny. Imagine telling someone that a trailer that released before ARR is a spoiler.
But what about the car mount?
Such Devastation
Dark Knight's storyline was so well received, the writer — Natsuko Ishikawa — got stepped up to more mainline writing. She'd been on staff from the start and wrote more incidental pieces, she's credited with the Coerthas Central Highlands content arc of 2.0, and some parts of 3.2 and 3.4, but she's also the storyline writer for Rogue and as mentioned Dark Knight. Getting stepped up to Main scenario writer for Stormblood she wasn't wholly responsible for it all but did write an entire section of the main plot for that, and following that she became the writing lead and senior writer for Shadowbringers and Endwalker and both of those expansions are absolute fucking bangers for story, some of the best game experience I've had in years.
This woman has serious chops for writing, I've never been so invested and conflicted with the story in an MMO of all things. The meme of FFXIV players being emotional vampires comes from the later expansions and the rollercoaster you're taken on. I still have a hard time with the ending of base Shadowbringers story, but it's impossible to talk about without spoiling anything so you'll just have to get there yourself.
the plan to play DRG to the level it starts getting real fun and then immediately switching to GNB is hilarious
dunno if anyone told you yet koe, but you want to double weave your off global cooldown attack abilities in between your combo gcds
like 1 (gcd) / 2 (jump) / 3 (Spineshatter dive) / 4 (gcd) / 5 (Dragon Flare Dive) / 6 (gcd) learn how to double weave could help you dish a heck of a lot more damage.
Also, if you want to practice, there are training dummies out in the open world.
Cant believe the SAM stole the LB3 from the streamer. Could have let him experience the amazing dragoon LB3 for the first time, but oh well…
4:59:19 THIS MAN PLAYS VIDEO GAMES
I've never seen so many deaths in Porta Decumana lol.
His chat is doing a bit of back seating, just let him play to learn or there will be sack beating
Glad you enjoyed the Ultima fight. Definitely the highlight of ARR trials imo. You’ll be great at reading markers in no time!
I've never seen finer floor tanking, my liege!
You do your profession proud!
6:10:50 That was wierd…. first time ive seen a campfire that wasnt surrounded by snowmen…
As a former wow hunter, i like seeing people get good mileage out of Disengage.
I dont know if chat ever mentioned this but you need to buy the Collector's edition of shadowbringers if you want to get Squall's weapon glam.
Rest in peace old cape west wind meme. That it used to be an 8 face roll before they redid it. People would scare new players saying it was hard. Now it is a duty.
Don’t feel bad they updated these recently. Changed them to dungeons and duties. They aren’t the facerolls they were.
