I think this is a great idea but 4 days seems like an oddly specific number. Seems like a week would be more fitting to get someone back on board again!
I take advantage of the free login campaign all the time and it's usually 14 days. Wonder why after all these years they've decided to knock it down to only 4?

Late into the 4th is also a good time to activate, gives you a couple of days to patch up and do the FFXI collab if you haven't before, and still hit up Valentione's before your time runs out.
This is great timing. I unsubbed new years eve. Comming back for xpac. But, I need that emote in my life! Comming back for that.

Sounds like the best time for would be to join during the weekend on like sunday or so while the Vday event is up. That way they can make 60 tomes off weekly moogle tomestone challenges + 50 from ultimog, then do the vday event.
Imagine playing on materia dc, you really feel it when people go on hiatus, can sit in pf for 4-5 hours of a night trying to fill ex trials.
It's really only a small datacenter issue, but unsubbing is healthy for yourself, but overall the community suffers in return and many people quit playing because of it.
Is there a guide on how to activate this? They always tell you the requirement but they don't ever show you how to do it.
The last free return log in for 14 days, I couldn't get it to work, even though I met all the requirement so I just gave up because nobody else knew what the reason was when I asked for help.
