He'll have to somehow get through STB's MSQ while dealing with everyone insisting that it's the greatest story ever told. If he can get to ShB's he'll get through the rest of the game. But getting there will be tricky.

his excuse to stop playing was that his stream and reddit were becoming "ffxiv only". he'd rather watch youtube videos and entertain twitter drama all day than to play a good game. it's been years at this point, he's not going to play.
It took irl catgirl for asmon to play xiv again off stream at RP nightclub venue and get a lapdance

He will not play this game again lol. It was just to farm content till WoW picked back up from being terrible. WoW is still terrible so he's farming content in other games like MHW right now. Which he will stop playing and find a new game to farm content in. See what I mean? It's like BG3 or Armored Core for Xeems. Even if he returns do you think he would stream anything after MSQ besides maybe some extreme trials? Nobody would want to watch him suffer in Savage or Ultimate prog. It's not stream friendly content. Unless he gets babied in legacy ones like Rich did for fast clear.

If he wanted to actually play the game he’d play the game. He’s obviously not into it. It did make him a lot of money though and probably would again.
Im pretty sure he wont play it on stream or wont touch it again.
He's not going to play it seriously anytime soon. His chat gets too cancerous whenever he plays FFXIV
I don't really see him playing XIV again. the game just tries too hard to present itself as an immersive, single player RPG experience when it should just embrace the fact it's an MMO. this is a reason I feel that a lot of people either grow disgruntled with the game or just drop it altogether. some people just like to raid and PVP at their leisure and not be forced through a gigantic story.
