A quick demonstration of the Bard’s slightly confusing opener and rotation, also going over how you plan out your songs and when to use Apex Arrow!

I love the job, but I can't manage everything while doing mechanics and watching the boss. Especially as the levels get higher.
I tried brd but it doesnt do as much dmg as id like a traditional archer in an mmo would. Great video nonetheless
Oh good, I haven't been screwing it up too badly!😅
I maxed every combat class and can't really stick with most other classes, but
I still use AST, RDM, and any tank once in awhile.
It just feels right to me since Shadowbringers. Keeping track of all the dots, procs, and gauges always feels like something I can improve on since I've had a lifelong attention problem.
Once I have mechanics down, I do pretty well
Nah. Screw that. I'm just gonna hit buttons and react to shit. If the boss dies at the end of the day, that's all I care about. My job is to hit shit and not die.
As a retired ffxiv player I can attest you don’t have to use this rotation if your not doing the hardest content in the game.
As a BRD main there were so many times I wanted to quit and pick up an easier job, but now that I have a deep understanding of the job and its rotations and burst windows I don’t think I’ll ever main another job. Yes, the songs/DOTs/procs can be a lot to manage and no, it doesn’t do as much damage as most of the ranged jobs. But it feels so satisfying to hit your burst window without anything out of drift and the weapons are so cool! ❤️
Huh. I’ve actually been doing pretty close to this while leveling bard. Only thing I goofed was starting with Burst Shot instead of Caustic
