  1. Knowing Yoshi will keep working on FFXIV for as long as he possibly can was the best news for the future of the MMO as we could have possibly gotten. I never seen a man who is so dedicated on improving and keeping a MMO alive/ the fans happy as Yoshi. Plus he actually cares and understands FF and it's fanbase. That's rare nowadays for the person in charge of a game to understand what the players want, and if he doesn't, he listens to what the players don't like. At least as far as i can tell. I now know that at the very least every 2 years we will continue to get some great FFXIV content.

  2. Hasn't that been the thing about Google? They announce a pretty ambitious idea, that everyone is skeptical about, and then proceeds to half ass the effort into making it work. Google Glass, Google Nexus, Google Plus, etc. If they're going to treat First Party Developers for Stadia this way, then just pack everything up, and cut your losses.

  3. Really glad to be getting more content from you as I love your take on things but please chill with the dad jokes. Feels like your brother but without his timing and cheeky smile to make it work.

  4. The next gen update isn't enough to get me to play God of War again. I absolutely LOVE the rest if the series, but this one was utterly tanked by its control scheme. It doesn't feel like a God of War game to me. And this isn't the first time control destroy a game for me. I hated Assassin's Creed because of ots controls also.

  5. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines
    Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
Me: “They’re both the same title”

In other news, for those curious, Judgment is an absolutely fantastic spinoff of Yakuza and no, you don’t need any prior knowledge of the series before going into it because it really doesn’t make any references to the series proper at all besides just being set in the same series. So if you play this and then decide you want to check out the rest of the Yakuza series, don’t worry because this doesn’t spoil anything for the other games at all.

  6. When I hear “freeium” for video games. I only hear will cost $$$$ to get even 1/3 the basic things games use to have for a base price.
