Keyboard and mouse support on console is something I want developers to embrace more… Xbox has supported KB/M since the launch of the xbox one but its up to developers to support it with the game and to this date we have what less than 10 titles that support KB/M for full gameplay…

I would actually advise against content creation for FF14. Much of the community is spoiler adverse and it's not something for long term sustainability either. This is why so many streamers dragged out the story of the game when they were streaming during the lead in to Endwalker.
…I have an Xbox account (from my 360 days) but no Xbox. Can’t afford one right now and not enough games worth playing on it…which is a shame.
I dont really even like multiplayer games so i doubt ill play this. But i hope everyone else plays it so maybe i can play ff7r and ff16 one day. Lol

Yeah I don't think they will wait til the expansion. If the past is any indication how Yoshi P handles things they typically will have the open beta up into the release almost similarly to how WoW did theirs imo from research I've done myself.

I played XIV on PC up until HW, but sadly lost my PC to bills and unfortunate circumstances during COVID, so I’m really looking forward to starting fresh and playing on my Series X.
