What a coincidence that the Online store job skips are on sale. Surely not gonna but a skip for this, no no…
If you want to avoid Papachin's gorgeous Summoner mod, you can always find plenty of Summoner mods on my channel, lol.
Seriously though, it's a beautiful mod and I am so thrilled to see Papachin finally do creature editing. They did not disappoint.
every time i see the thumbnail of yoshi p angry i fall over laughing. lol love it all. great stuff.
Like don't get me wrong they very cool looking, but they have to much visual clutter, its why don't really see stuff like this in lot games though good way to get hired for in the industry fill out that portfolio.
Papachin is a literal god at this stuff man.
Okay… Maybe I should research exactly how to download mods like this so I know how to stay away from them forever
I actually don't like it. Regular summoner has a problem with being way too over the top and in your face. I think classes like SAM are much better designed – slow buildup with a satisfying burst. SMN like like vomiting rainbows all over your monitor. There's no high and low moments it just never stops and one thing doesn't seem more powerful than the next.
Also, these effects make it extremely hard to raid. You'd have to turn off effects for yourself which defeats the purpose. I had the same problem with a SCH mod. It was great…but some of the skills just dropped a lightshow on the person I'm attacking and I had to remove it.
I think it would be cooler if instead of summoning the primals you aspected yourself. So like if you summon ifrit you would get a draconic/fire arm. Then save the summoning for burst w/ bahamut/phoenix. Make the burst actually feel special. Also from a gameplay sense, this would mean more carbuncle so you can actually use your mitt…
They could do what POE does and add in store purchases for visual effects for skills
Watching this video, I got a thought that SE really should make abilites animations and shine scale better with levels/expansions/whatever. Some spells/weaponskills animations change as they "upgrade" into a better version, but a lot of abilites could really use a level-up in how fancy they look.
And of course, give us an option to turn off or simplify those animations to prevent visual clutter.
Dumb question but don’t you need to be using a mod in order to see someone using mods in the first place?
Basically they just made it so its more in line with the actual class fantasy which I really like.
strummer? MediaTourStrummer hyperTssk
It does look very cool, but my cpu will be wheezing and I only pay attention to my hotbars and floors for aoes. 😂
Xeno makes a point about how the sound effects of the move, it does help make it feel more impactful.
When it comes to classes/jobs a skill can be good based on the sound, weight, animations, spell effects, and size.
I’m surprised the ffxiv you tubers haven’t made a video about this concept.
Why don't they hire this guy jesus
I avoided this summoner mod so hard that it had to sneak its way into my game just to get me to try and use it, how could it do such a thing to me?
20 seconds in. Already better.
as with most things, modders make shit look and utilize functionality 10x better than the devs.
