  1. If you want to avoid Papachin's gorgeous Summoner mod, you can always find plenty of Summoner mods on my channel, lol.

Seriously though, it's a beautiful mod and I am so thrilled to see Papachin finally do creature editing. They did not disappoint.

  2. Like don't get me wrong they very cool looking, but they have to much visual clutter, its why don't really see stuff like this in lot games though good way to get hired for in the industry fill out that portfolio.

  3. I actually don't like it. Regular summoner has a problem with being way too over the top and in your face. I think classes like SAM are much better designed – slow buildup with a satisfying burst. SMN like like vomiting rainbows all over your monitor. There's no high and low moments it just never stops and one thing doesn't seem more powerful than the next.

Also, these effects make it extremely hard to raid. You'd have to turn off effects for yourself which defeats the purpose. I had the same problem with a SCH mod. It was great…but some of the skills just dropped a lightshow on the person I'm attacking and I had to remove it.

I think it would be cooler if instead of summoning the primals you aspected yourself. So like if you summon ifrit you would get a draconic/fire arm. Then save the summoning for burst w/ bahamut/phoenix. Make the burst actually feel special. Also from a gameplay sense, this would mean more carbuncle so you can actually use your mitt…

  4. Watching this video, I got a thought that SE really should make abilites animations and shine scale better with levels/expansions/whatever. Some spells/weaponskills animations change as they "upgrade" into a better version, but a lot of abilites could really use a level-up in how fancy they look.
And of course, give us an option to turn off or simplify those animations to prevent visual clutter.

  5. Xeno makes a point about how the sound effects of the move, it does help make it feel more impactful.
When it comes to classes/jobs a skill can be good based on the sound, weight, animations, spell effects, and size.
I’m surprised the ffxiv you tubers haven’t made a video about this concept.
