  1. Hi you all!
For starters, I really hope you all enjoyed this little video! Every single YouTube video takes forever to make, but this one… this one took ten times forever to finish ^_^ll.

So, why have I not created anything for so long, and why is this video not about visual novels?

The honest answer is because I feel kind of done with creating videos about visual novels.

After I made my Katawa Shoujo Retrospective, there were no other videos left that I really wanted to make about Vns. I made a few more after that, but actually really did not enjoy making them, and I also did not think that the end result was all that great. Couple that with how very long videos take to make, and I just did not really feel like I could motivate myself to make videos just for the sake of making them.

So, I decided I should try something totally new. Something I've never done on this channel previously, and see how it goes. Then, when started having an absolute blast playing FF14, and some other YouTubers who have made some simply fantastic FF14 content, I felt that was the sort of video I wanted to give a shot at creating.

Fun fact; World of Warcraft machinima videos was actually the very first type of videos I ever tried to create, way back when I was 15. (They did not turn out well, I had literally no writing, editing or voice acting skills whatsoever back then.). Going back to a similar style of videos now that I actually somewhat know seemed like it would be a fun thing to do.

So, what is next for this little channel? I honestly don't know; I just decided that I would make this one video, see how it does, and then decide what I'll do with the channel after that. I might do more FF14 content in the future; I had a ton of fun making this video, so I wouldn't mind trying it again some time. I don't think I'll go back to visual novel videos any time soon, though, to be honest. I still read them, every once in a while, but I just don't feel the same drive to make videos about them

If VN videos was the one thing you were watching my stuff for up until now – thanks a ton for sticking around for so long (seriously, it's a cliché, but I mean it!) and if you choose to unsubscribe, then I wish you a lovely life!

If not, then… well, hopefully it won't be another full 2 years before I find enough time to make something else ^_^

  2. You know as someone who has worked hard to level all my crafters to work on market manipulation i have to say "SO THIS IS WHERE THE PEOPLE GET THEIR MONEY TO PAY FOR THE GLAM GEAR I MAKE!"

The Scions are so named because they are operating within the Seventh Astral Era, which is just a method of keeping time comparative to major events. I didn't see anyone else sayin anything, so

  4. I had a funny experience when I started this game, which wasn't that long ago actually cause I started last month. I was a level 17 Viera lancer just coming back to Gridania from doing some of the msq. I teleported in and immediately heard the sound of the Mandalorian theme tune, this was my first encounter with the bards in game, so I decided to stop and listen for a while. That while turned into hours, and at some point someone offered me a load of champagne bottles for free, which I accepted. I then proceeded to pop about 100 of those champagne bottles open in about half an hour. During my bottle popping spree, a Lalafell offered me 500,000 gil if I could continuously pop champagne bottles for 1 hour without pause. I accepted her challenge and ended up popping champagne long after the bards had finished playing, some of the bard's audience even stayed to watch me pop those bottles! I succeeded in that challenge, and true to her word she gave me 500,000 gil, plus a mount and minion as a bonus. She also invited me to her FC and I became friends with most of the people who stayed to cheer me on. So yeah, that's how I became the legendary bottle popping bunny of Gridania! Although it's bottle popping kitty now that I've fantad to Miqo'te xD

  5. I've worked in such an establishment. Ask me anything. But, no seriously during one night I was able to make nearly 12 million gil as one of my 'customers' challenged me to a game. Other nights usually ended up with a few million or sometimes nothing during a bad one.

I can tell you one thing though: The front might look shiny and friendly, but in the background there's a lot of drama and backstabbing happening. Probably worse than a lot of "normal" FC/guild-drama.

  6. Can confirm this is about right. I've been playing FF14 for about a year and a half now, and have only just recently begun to run out of storyline and raid progression content…. so, after MUCH hesitation, I finally started getting into the RP aspect a bit despite never having had any interest in that sort of thing before, ever.

To my great surprise…. the RP crowd, even including the ERP crowd, is really fun to talk to. I've made some legitimate friends, and it's not an experience I'd trade for anything. They're just super nice, super welcoming, super fun to hang out with people.

  7. While at the MB in my bun alt a guy told me I was cute, invited me over and paid me 3 mill to tickle my feet for two hours.

Mind you, I court at 2 clubs as well, but this was a weird one

  8. Fun fact: in Japanese, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn is 暁の血盟, or Blood Alliance (Brother-/Sisterhood) of the Dawn. In other words, there was no second or the seventh, just the one.

  9. Amazing editing and storytelling! I truly hope you find the time and motivation to create more FF14 vids in the future, despite the crazy amount of time and effort that goes into them!
