Today I am going to show you a quick and simple way to get the hybodus shark mount in FFXIV from Ocean fishing. Honestly one of the coolest mounts I have ever seen in the game and the fact that you get it from fishing in FFXIV is amazing. I absolutley love sharks and this is no exception. This is such a cool themed mount and I just wanted to show you guys how to obtain the cool shark hybodus mount.

So if you are on free trial is not worth your time going for the mount because being caped at level 60 means no double hook

I started doing the ocean trip as soon as I unlocked it. For two reasons. I got so much exp from it and the mount.
I was level 8 on my first ocean fishing trip… I got 9.8k 🙁 I was so sad less than 200 from the mount

Very helpful video… at lvl 61 I'm not getting more than say, 7000 points, but I'm mostly just having fun and learning what i can. This guide really has good information, especially Zeke's info which I find easier to follow than some others.
