  1. Maybe you could react to „Footfalls“ of Final Fantasy XIV or to the song „Shadowbringers“ from the dlc of the same name – that’s from Final Fantasy XIV, too. ☺️
I myself just finished Shadowbringers a few days ago so it still sits very deep inside my soul right now haha 😅
Or as someone else already commented: the Final Fantasy XIV cinematic trailers are pretty awesome!
    Order: 1. A Realm Reborn, 2. Heavensward, 3. Stormblood, 4. Shadowbringers, 5. Endwalker 😇

Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG btw

  2. FFXIV must listen tracks!!! (to me <3)

    Endwalker (Footfalls)
    What Angel Wakes Me
    Dedicated to Moonlight
    In the Balance
    Endcaller
    eScape
    Hic Svnt Leones
    Scream

aaaaa this already too many there are too many good ones

  3. Fuck, I think it would easier to list songs not to react to. FF14 is just banger after banger.

If you want just a few though: Scream, The Makers Ruin, In The Balance, The Black Wolf Stalks Again, Rise, and Triumph.

Also The Primals are the in-house band from the FFXIV team. All of those people are also devs who make the game.

  4. Absolutely you should check out FFXIV cinematic trailers for the expansions!! A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker. I play FFXIV and I cant tell you how many times, playing the main scenario, the music gives you chills or makes you cry along the story. The music is phenomenal!

  5. As many others have said, any of the trial or raid music from FF14 is incredible, and many of the lists that people have already provided are incredible. My personal recommendations are Wayward Daughter, In the Balance, and To the Edge.

  6. This was probably already said but the guy that's all in black is doing the emote dances from the game (well most of them are the last bits are just him dancing on his own). The bassist is Masayoshi Soken, he composes the music for Final Fantasy 14. <3

  7. Soken (the man playing the guitar) is the lead composser for ffxiv. He goes all over the place, there are songs in this game that could fit into basically any genre and for basically every type of situation imaginable. And if it sounds like it wouldn't work, they somehow make it slap like you wouldn't believe. (For example, absolute hard japanese butt rock as a boss theme for an elegant ice queen whos story is super somber and tragic.)

  8. all the band members of The Primals (inhouse band name) are developers of the game.
If you want an idea what to put this song too. watch a runthrough called The Twining.
There is also over 400 unique songs in Final Fantasy XIV so… get yourself a sponsorship with redbull or something.

  9. Distant World is an orchestra specialized in FF music, they do remake and medley between music of all the FF titles. And they only have 4 CD so far so it could be a nice place to start.
They frequently do world tour you can easily find them on YouTube

  10. Please listen to some orchesttal versions, or some MV by fans, my favorite songs are hard to chose, ff is around for 35 years and it has the most awesome music in videogame history.
    Id love to recommend
    Liberi fatali (FF8 opening)
A place to call home (FF9 opening)
    Appcalypsis Noctis (FF15)
    Somnus (with lyrics! FF15)
Final Fantasy crystal chronicles theme sung by Floor Jansen
Just a few, there are so much more…

  11. FFXIV (Final fantasy 14) has TONS of music in it's repertoire and it covers so many genres tailored to match various scenes and events. As a great starting point, the song Answers is kind of the foundation of the game. Definitely an epic song, and has a cut scene that goes along with it!

  12. Welp, you just opened a can of worms by asking people what ff songs you should react to (and ff14 even, the community is gonna be aggressive about songs because they're that good). I'd say there's a lot but personally, I'd say "Scream" since it's one of the most recent banger of a song out there – or "Close in the Distance" or "To The Edge" (because why not). There's also the other songs with official music video courtesy of the official ffxiv channel too though others would probably have a better list out there.

Also, imagine first time getting into the dungeon, The Twinning, and this started playing. The entire time, you're just jamming lol. A fun fact about this music video, which I've almost forgotten now, they sort of referenced the meme about this song named twinning.mp4 so much so that on the concert, they quite literally remade the same meme on stage lol

  13. So context to the primals, it's entirely made up of devs, with now studio localisation lead Christopher Koji Fox on vocals and lead composer and musical god Masayoshi soken on lead guitar.

As for this track, it's a dungeon theme. I highly recommend such songs as the shadowbringers main theme, under the weight, brute justice mode, the black wolf returns, scream, rise, locus, to the edge,

  14. The list of FFXIV bangers is just amazingly long and diverse, it really can be a rabbit hole for non-players. This was a good starter choice, I would recommend following it up with a live performance of the Primals and an early one to see the progression. "Metal – Brute Justice Mode" or even older "Under the Weight & Oblivion" which is a combo performance of two boss themes. Both are on the official FFXIV channel.
