  1. I'm happy they're adding harder content that doesn't require a whole raid, but I'm a bit bummed that it doesn't offer gear rewards, otherwise, it would be the ideal content for players like me. It's still a step in the right direction.

  2. I tried it the 1st time solo, I got slaughtered on my Red Mage by the 1st boss about at half health! I laughed so much my sides hurt! I love these dungeons & can't wait to be able to run the Savage versions! Great vid, keep up the great work! 😉

  3. I did 2 runs and it was so fun, I got lucky to get the rat minion 😀
    I want to see all the routes by myself first and then probably go with fc mates so we can farm together.

    and on weekend I think I will try the extreme and savage ones, they look difficult but we will see XD

  4. As a senior citizen who has trouble with the Endwalker dungeons with duty support, I really hope these won't be too hard for me. I play this game for the story, not to be stressed by difficult content.

  5. First time go on 2/3 variant bosses here! A note to everyone reading this. The mechanics for the variant dungeon fights DO give you an idea of what to expect in the other difficulties

  6. I really love being able to actually hang out with my sultana and see her talk about stuff to get more personality from her. I've wanted something like Genshin Impact's hangout thing, so this will definitely do for now. I saw someone say they could see this as the future for story dungeons. I thought there was no way, but after playing I think they could definitely take some things from it at the very least. There's only one dungeon per patch anyways, so maybe?

  7. The story is insanely good. Literally the best written story every put to paper, period. Literally blows my mind, can't wait for 7.0 story… jesus I don't know how they can top endwalker (best story ever made in any medium) but I can't wait.

  8. The Variant version is nice, although a bit too easy imo. The sandbox with different jobs being able to take different roles is neat and the multiple paths and variety are quite interesting. My problem with criterion and savage is the utter lack of rewards for the sheer amount of effort required. There's very little incentive to push through it outside of the achievement alone. I can see this style of difficulty getting infuriating, where everything you do gets reset the instant you make a single mistake during a fight. Xenosys ended up malding pretty hard after having to clear the first trash pack for the 20th time in the savage dungeon due to small errors lol. Personally, I'm probably going to skip the harder version of the content and just focus on savage raids, because I don't care for the very very minimal amount of rewards that the dungeons give and there's not enough incentive for me to put so much effort into what is effectively an Ultimate. Overall, not what I was expecting or hoping for.

  10. I like variant dungeons but I'm worried that gamers will spreadsheet the optimal paths and then if you want to do any path deemed suboptimal you'll have to solo it. I think they'll need to give bonus rewards if a party member unlocks a new path, so it's still possible for new players to get all paths done without going in solo.

  11. they put a mount in it for clearing all of it… your own pace does not apply for most MMO players when that carrot is at the end of the stick… just like the motorcycle and Island Sanctuary.
