  1. Earlier upload than usual today because I know we're on a time crunch before the servers go down for maintenance tonight! I'M KINDA HYPED POGGERS FOR RELICS THO? It's been so long! TOO LONG!

  2. But there is something i dont get, people should be actually be doing Hildibrands questline… why is that? Because to unlock the trial roulette you need to have done all the previous trials ever including the optional ones and those optional include the hildibrands one that was a changed that came with shadowbringers…

Or you guys tell me not many have the trial roulette unlocked…

  3. I know that people are having total meltdowns over having to do hildibrand because “wah they’re gonna be joke weapons”
But in concept alone this should be awesome
First off they’re manderville weapons, not specifically hildibrand weapons
Second of all, godbert master goldsmith teaming with gerolt master relicsmith, then add in Gilgamesh hunting down ancient legendary weaponry for the two guys to then restore?
That should be a perfect relic grind recipe if you ask me

  4. What I don't get is how people are suddenly surprised. We've known for literally months that Hilde was required for these. And I don't think there are a bunch of casual people that (a) know Relics are coming with this patch AND (b) DON'T know that Hilde is required. If you're tuned into the game's news enough to know the Relics were coming, you'd be tuned in enough to know Hilde was required months ago. If you weren't tuned in enough to know Hilde was required, you wouldn't be tuned in enough to know Relics were coming. I think that Venn diagram has near 100% overlap.

It's just people who like to complain (can I say bitch?) about things wanting to complain rather than just do them, because they'd rather burn excess energy complaining and HOPE they get changed and have to burn EVEN MORE energy doing them then WHILE continuing to complain, than simply doing them in the first place. Some people just want to have an oppression story or something, I dunno. But it's absolutely a real thing that people just want to have things to complain about – and want everyone else to sit attentively and listen to their complaints.

Like "Witch, I have Relics to grind already! Ain't nobody got time to listen to your sore butt lazy butt complaining!" 😀

  5. At first I was like "what kind of preparations do you need?" and then after watching the video: "ah…"

I HOPE that they did a nice job with the weapons this time and they make nice looking books…

  6. You mean do Hildibrand? That's it? Bruh, unlock requirements aren't even officially listed, no patch notes yet. Doing Hildibrand has been known for a while. A more accurate title to your video would have been, "Watch me do Hildibrand last minute."

  7. Also important to note phase 1 of the weapon is not meta. So don't rush the quest lines, enjoy them at your own pace. You can be late on starting relics, you're not missing anything. Only final phase of weapon is actually good iLvl wise.

  8. Once you’ve done the Heavensward Hildibrand quests you can do the Scholasticate questline that also starts in the Jeweled Crozier. You get a really cool coat / cloak from it that looks like a Harry Potter robe and a pair of half-rim glasses along with the /spectacles emote, so it’s worth doing.

  9. Both DRK and NIN can solo the Stormblood trial.

Just burst one of the adds as soon as it is targetable, then kite them until one casts an ability and they separate and burst again. Repeat until only one left. Takes a bit of practice, but on DRK, I got it down to just the initial burst and a single kiting-until-separated phase to kill the first add. If one ends up on low single digit percent health after a burst, you can just stay put and DPS through the shield.

Chains seems easier on NIN as their ground DoT is stronger. With DRK, you need to wait until near the end of the cast and then cast Living Shadow, Salted Earth, and get a single direct oGCD/GCD hit on the boss so your Living Shadow actually attacks (a Salted Earth tick won’t do it). Your Living Shadow will hit the boss, not the chains, but as long as a couple of it’s AoE abilities also hit the chains, Salted Earth will finish them off. Might also want to pot for that part.

  10. I'm sure this has been brought up before. But it's NASHU in each of the quest names, not Nasty. As I listened in, I kept hearing the mispronunciation and it was driving me crazy.
