  1. weird how the box decoration themed for feeding chocobos is full of carrots and cabbages instead of gysahl greens.

edit: no don't think the /doze only working indoors is the reason for the haystack to be a indoor furnishing as /doze works outdoors too, at some rank the main building on the island sanctuary gets a bed and you can sleep in it…. although with the 2 vendors staring at you the whole time, unblinking.

  2. If you wanna match the chocobo essentials wood colour to the chocobo stable colour, use the bottom right dye on the brown dye section. Its the third on the right from gobbiebag brown dye.

  3. you can doze on the massage tables in empyrium housing wards, and a few odd spots scattered through msq.
The empy wards are in the same zone as exterior items, and doze technically works anywhere, it just needs a point set to tell it to snap to a bed and go into bed doze rather than standing doze.

  4. Doze works on the outdoor lounging chairs with the parasols, for example. So probably not the reason.
Also people have slept on hay beds for quite a long time, historically XD. It's actually a good insulator from the cold ground and it is really more comfortable than sleeping on the ground.
I can imagine a few home designs where it could be used but yeah maybe not the most useful housing item.

  5. The bed is confusing. I thought it would be an outdoor item and then I read the description. It's cute but I'd never use that inside. I was hoping that the items in the cowries shop were for using in your island. Not even that we could place ourselves, just new skins… or something. The drink is cute but I have no space for something like that and the chocobo stable food thing is cute but… I don't have a house. LOL

  6. Not just historically even today people sleep on such hay beds. Of course it depends on the location where in the world you are going, there are enough places which have nothing else then gras and hay to use as a bed. But also you will see it on Farms where you can stay over night (or if you know an old farmer who just don't like modern house designs XD).

  7. The vege bin looks rather high-poly, as it's semi-open on the sides so all the interior spheres needed to be modeled. Had it been in the PS3 era, the sides likely would have been sealed as a basic cube (with only the top open) to save performance. A nice reminder for how far things have come.

  8. My FC has outside furniture you can /doze on, if somebody replies to ask I'll try to get the name. … but since that exists, means there's no reason not to put the hay outside.

  9. Meoni, you might be surprised by how many folks create "exterior" locations inside of housing areas. I made a yurt for my Xaela main, and it opens onto a supposedly outdoor area, theoretically by a pond. I have seen quite a few other people do something that was supposed to be outside in their apartment or house. Lots more slots available for interior spaces, also. It can be fun.

  10. Sleeping outside works as well because you have sunbeds a lot of the beach locations which you can fall asleep in so having the hay as an outdoor item would have worked perfectly
