  1. Apologies for the audio balance being all over the place; I did a thing way later in the editing process than I should and ended up throwing quite a few things out of whack. I tried adjusting stuff here-and-there, but it still ended up all blegh.

I'm also aware there's a few editing mistakes I've left in there too, but this video took me like 30 render attempts to make since it kept crashing on me, so uh, yeah: just keepin' it in there.

  2. Excellent video but you really shouldn't show those Third Party Tools on screen like that! It's very unfair for the Console players for you to be using calculator.exe when they can't! :^)

  3. RDM starting in White shift with the line aoe silence is much nicer as it prevents (or atleast slows) a lot of bursts when you get to them (especially in frontlines). Changing it on the fly for what you need is important though, especially using your lb under Black Shift is more useful then white shift at range. Got to consider the changes with all the jobs in frontline too, the bards song passive is way nicer with it working on up to 8 people instead of up to 5 (and 4 in RW when they rebalance that mode). A good breakdown for sure ^^ but yea these seem to be minor balancing changes pre 6.15 and maybe evenb more changes pre.618 or on 6.18 for Season 2

  4. DNC buffs are absolutely underwhelming conciderig they perform even worse than BLM. They should at least buff their range to proper range? They might aswell be melee with the range they have…

  5. Honestly I feel the biggest thing to improve pvp would be derank- after 3 loses in a row with 0 stars you derank(-sth similar for inactivity). However you get to keep rewards of your highest rank.
So ppl who do not pvp at their best in crystal go do normals instead

  6. Unrelated to the video but I just wanted to say I love your content and have been a fan since the video where you were venting over the possibility of losing your FFXIV account. I'm honestly floored with the moment of clarity as I look back at how much you've grown as a Content Creator

Keep up the amazing work, love your stuff

  7. So happy for BLM buff, especially for the Halfsleep and Burst updates!

I agree with MCH buff, I think it is not necessary because they already hit hard, stun, knockback, buff/debuff with the turret, and can 1 shot enemy!

  8. Just got pass the MCH changes, as me mostly playing it for PVP. Machinist lacks the quick kill power in the way that we lack off cooldown and fast damage output, so lack of burst could say. The best dmg being drill can only be used once before having to go trough the whole list, which is a cooldown with charge, can't spam trough to get that drill back (Personally if could have the anker one forever, then would be overpower :3).
Bio blaster is Machinist way to scare a team like a white mage lb hell. but still gonna need that Analysis, or else ain't too scary.
For the drill, the buff is SO WELCOME, cause drill might be the most useless ability ever; it used a charge of the cooldown to which I HAVE to use, so make it take longer for me to use the better ones, the 10k damage was meh, only good thing being a line aoi which can be nice I guess and the 3% to insta-kill being ONLY if use an Analysis charge, which, if in Crystal Conflict, pretty dumb to go for except for meme. The charge should be kept for drill or anker in my opinion and those 2 can secure kills for the teams with the damage and the Stun+bind.
so ye, drill still kinda useless :p
MCH used to be seen as such op job, but when people realise "Oh if I roam/flank to attack the mch, they can't defend themselves against me the melee hehe" and thus the MCH reign died, people grew brains 😔
[but ye please gosh, I enjoy roaming as MCH, being able to surprise their casters and maybe healer from the back, making so their melee and tank is vs 4 of my team, can help nicely]
mmm, MASSIVE comment, sorry 😅not against what you said, just thought would share info on how I saw the MCH changes and how we do since I spent all my time with the job 🙂

  9. I'm loving that you're continuing to make these PVP videos. In this instance, I especially appreciate that you didn't just go over the patch notes like everyone else but got on all the jobs and showed off how the changes could actually be used.

  10. As a MCH main, I approve of these changes as they just allow me to be a bit more threatening against some of the higher tier jobs. As a RDM main, I'm okay with this slight nerf as my job still feels very good to play in PVP.

  11. The background music was a nice touch. Though Bard nearly brought me to tears when I realized what it was. That damn spoony bard… I couldn't hear the ones behind Red Mage or Astrologian though. What were they? I keep wanting to say Setzer was the Astra one.
