  1. In Pyro's defense, he is dealing with literally the worst of the FFXIV community, which also just so happens to presently be the majority, that being, the toxic casual *ucktard story watchers that consider themselves the moral pillars of the community, the shitwits that go around policing the community, THE SAME a-holes that mass report streamers or even normal community members because they just don't agree with them and consider them "toxic personalities" . Worst of all, all these **tards joined the community in either Mid to late stormblood or the beginning of shadowbringers, so they aren't even old blood, but somehow they think they have the right for backseat community management. God I wish we could go back to the ARR and HW community days.

EDIT: For the record I have played FFXIV since 1.X. and I also played WoW from Vanilla to mid MoP and played again during Legion. and I can without a doubt say that presently, FFXIV's community is EXTREMELY toxic, not in the "I ducked your mother" and "go quit and uninstall" kind of way, no, it's more in the pitchforks and witch hunt kind of way, the SHEER hypocrisy of the present FFXIV community is just such a dark shade of Irony, it makes me laugh at all these high on a moral pedestal clowns in the comments.

  2. Hah I like that you went full send and posted another fair use video with the same source material. Good! The strike was 100% anger fueled and trying to hide it. What a scummy move. He had every right to turn off his stream, yet he continued to blow up on a public live streaming website. Sorry Pyro… you're just… you're what you call your chat, buddy.

  3. I'm nervous and temperamental almost like pyro, I understand him perfectly, I even worked with the public when I produced comic books, I had to be a real Tibetan monk to put up with certain things. So if I say something here, I'll be suspicious and undignified, but nowadays, after a long time I've worked with the public, my best advice [the ones I've been given] is to let people kill each other in chat, er screw it , if you get too involved with your audience you are the weaker side of the "tug of war", so you will suffer, they will curse you, say that you are this or that and your reputation will go to waste as the night comes after the day.

I know pyro doesn't swear at people because he really thinks that, it's just his explosive rage and self-defense system for being weakened "in argument"!

  4. I've been staying away from all ffxiv creator content because I haven't been able to play the new update until this week. This is a wild re-entry for me xD I can't believe Pyro or ANYONE thinks that console players are holding the game back xD First of all, low end pcs will always exist. Second, we console players can do ALL the same content without having access to all the addon nonsense.

  5. Cant find my comment again… wanted to add the "after watching the video" comment since I first wanted to get something out. Anyway, Pyro has the problem of being very judgemental from what Ive seen from him (and I watched his content for more than four years). I dont mind passion, but he seems to blow up regularly on his streams – and for useless reasons, too… He is the master of his stream and he shouldnt get that worked up over a simple dispute, or let people get under his skin like that. I mean, he is an adult, he shouldve learned some selfcontroll by now. And apologising afterward, though a good thing, shouldnt be necessary in the first place.

  6. Mind you, the FF14 community has its issues, and we all know what that is. Yet, Pyro acted like this before…so it is not like this is a bad day issue. He gets trigger way too easily.

  7. I just canceled my sub finally with him yesterday. I started subbing ever since he started FF14 and fell in love with the high moments.

Him treating his chat like shit because he started talking about shit he has no knowledge of has been a typical thing though.

  8. the question if a full console static ever raced world first is dumb. Theres like, 30 people max who even care racing, nobody tries recruting console only because nobody cares

  9. I used to be subbed to Pyro but it seemed to me after he made it into Endwalker he showed his true side to everyone. Imo Pyro didnt fall in love with FFXIV he fell in love with the money he could easily get by pretending to actually care about the game.

  10. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 7 years old and living with it for 38 years I can say symptoms and ADHD "traits" can be different for different people. From what I can tell in this instance is that he might be losing focus and "forgetting" his responses or losing his train of thought. In my experience when I get over stimulated, my mind kinda goes into a flatspin and I find it hard to finish one thought before 3 or 4 different thoughts kinda invade my mind at the same time. Imagine reading a book but only reading the 1ste half of the 1ste sentence of every page because someone keeps paging over and you can't stop them. Also sometimes "hyper activity" also means hyper active mind. It's hard because sometimes you can lose focus/concentration and be over stimulated the same time. At least that's my opinion.

  11. Why do none of you just let the video play without your cuts and inserts? You’re not pyro. None of you are who has commented on this rant. So let us who wasn’t there just hear it through

  12. In his last video on twitch called "Lets Talk" at 23min 15sec he literally said he didn't like how he was presented and "he will use the tools at his disposal to protect himself". That's a false DMCA right there.

  13. Ginger your an awesome creator and person, always love your content. I gave up on FFXIV and went back to WOW because I enjoy the variety of endgame content more there with mythic plus, but I still watch you for you!

  14. He explained why he did the takedown on his Twitch stream last night. I recommend checking out his VoD where he talks about it in detail as well as his entire mindset about the situation.

  15. Honestly, and probably a hot take, I agree with him 100% with mods. The whole popping off and going down a rabbit hole and ultimately attacking his fans was super cringe though.

  16. I like Pyro, but wow… this is a really, really bad showing for him. The projection is off the charts. The self-entitlement is off the charts. The inability to handle disagreements is off the charts.

"I just want a nice looking interface" – Understandable. But it's not your game. You don't make the rules. You do, however, agree to abide by them when playing the game. And one of the rules is "No third-party addons". Worse, you flaunt that you're using them on stream. You are in no position to be upset.

If you expressely state a rule in your house is "shoes stay at the door, and no feet on the furniture", then someone comes into your house and puts their feet up on your couch, while still wearing their dirty sneakers, and they say "well, I just want to be comfortable, man. That's all I want. Just some comfort"… are you going to say 'oh, okay.. well in that case, it's fine"? No. You're not going to allow someone flagrantly ignoring your rules in your home. It's no different here. Pyro has an undue sense of entitlement.

The whole "no one would accept 60fps" or whatever. I'm on a 2070 Super. I can easily handle over 100FPS in most games. I keep them v-sync'd at 60. Why? Because 60 is perfectly adequate for me, and I'd rather not push the GPU any harder than it needs to be. Many people can't even afford a system that can do 160FPS, but he's talking like it's common. Pyro needs to stop projecting.

And he really needs to learn to take disagreement better. Holy crap, he just can not stand someone disagreeing with him about anything.

  17. here's my take on the Mod drama you all agreed to the TOS .. you all should of read it .. I hope the ban hammer is extremely hard and is continued in such a fashion I don't want cheaters or toxicity in FF14

  18. 11:30 this seems like a dumb argument. I mean yes if you think about the computers sitting in a school or local library yes a ps5 will beat those. but if you think the the pc people buy and use for gaming. no, no one is buying a pc that isn't ps5 quality or better for gaming. if so you are being ripped off. my friends bought a pc that can play everything at maxed out settings and can be upgraded to perform even better throughout the years. and only spent 150 more then a ps5 or series x. so pc may have the lowest requirements brain but be honest how many are truly on the lowest setting on ff14.

  20. He uses the "whole party on a console" argument just because he doesn't have any other argument so he focuses on the useless part of "everyone has to be on console" cause he noticed that its not getting challenged

  21. I hope whatever the root cause of his frustration gets sorted out, I know I had to step away from gaming for a while because it was just getting too much and was affecting my outlook on real life, it's a viscous cycle.

  22. I played WoW from day one and I’m familiar with all the streamers and content creators from that game who hopped over to 14. Pyro has always been problematic. Not in the same vein as others I will not name, but he has been. He’s entitled too. He will rage and be almost abusive to his audience as well and then think a small apology will fix it or hiding behind the mental health issues to excuse what is essentially toxic behavior. Of course even saying as much or being critical usually gets backlash from him or his fans. And honestly, I was worried when he crossed over because I knew the kind of drama and energy he brings. Especially as a so called lore enthusiast. I knew this was coming because it’s a pattern with him. I also dislike that people think streamers can get away with breaking ToS while benefiting and making money by streaming these games. And then throwing devs under a bus because they want these features and feel entitled to them like toddlers with a tantrum. And what he said about console players is precisely the kind of energy that’s already a problem and keeping me from even being able to join a static because I don’t have ACT. And I’m PS5. I hate that kind of elitist mentality so much. I left WoW hoping I was done with that, but here we are.
