  1. FFXIV's writing style is very literary. NPC dialogue reads as though from a novel. I find that is part of FFXIV's charm, but I know it's definitely cumbersome to actually say it vs reading it. On top of that, there's a lot of "ye olde English" in there. For example, "chirurgeon" is an old term that means "doctor/surgeon". Pronounced kai-er-jin. Can't wait for the next episode. I'm curious whether you might tackle any of the optional dungeons. There's a very famous one at level 47.
