Haha I get the confusion with this boss. Didn’t figure it out for the first few years until someone pointed it out.
Am I dumb or is there are reason you still use Ruin 1? My experience as a lv 40 Scholar is that I threw away Ruin 1 for 2 and I don't see a reason to have both. But it's also been a while so I may be out of the loop.

Bro I am the only human being that turns name display for everyone and everything off except for when you click or controller target someone. It’s waaay better helps with the visual clutter (obviously) if that is a problem for anyone who’s played any mmo ever, and idk it’s just adds that immersion to it, like if I wanna know who you are I gotta go outta my way to find out, or when your walking down Ul’dah and some mysterious badass comes strolling by as opposed to immediately seeing “Trash Gamer” over their head (real name I came across)
