The departure really nailed it for 1.0 players. The old Limsa music. The cutscene on the ship.
If the music at Sharlayan is enough to make him lose it, wait till he gets further in. The end part is going to kill him.
I want to play this game already, but i wont buy it until i know for sure that i will stick with it on the long run.

I wish Endwalker NG+ was out because there is so many great moments that get even better once you've beaten the game. Even little things like Krilledaelyn talking about how Minfilia loved the Source, as much as "another" that may "yet" have a role to play. That hits way differently once you've beaten the game once.

I love that we learned that Estinien is bad with money just like Alphinaud. If the two of them are ever sent out to procure supplies Tataru will have a total meltdown.
