My Sage is level 87 almost 88. That’s my main job. Getting ahead of people saying I somehow get a benefit/bonus as a creator (I’ve been accused of that). I’ve had to log in at 2:00am in the morning just to get in when I DO get in.
I am really upset to say the least. Even as this video was uploading my boyfriend just got 900002 error and logged back in to a 4.5k person queue.
This is REALLY rough.

Man. It hurts even more so to watch a member of my FC try his best to get in. He goes to school, works so his time is limited. On the days he asked up, he's just been bombarded with errors and losing his place in queue. We wanted to be ready come 6.01 for the raid on Day 1. But now he's freaking out about not having enough time, it just pains me to see him flip out so much and I just can't do anything.
It's Brutal.
I have never been as connected to a game or it's launch or cared as much as I do. So this hurts. It really hurts.🍕🍕🍕

I don't mind waiting for hours to play a game on launch. I won't sit here and blame anybody for that. My issue is being booted from queue after hours of waiting and restarting, a stable and fair queue is all I ask really. I agree that the expansion itself is amazing however. I'm completely enthralled by the story.
I don't want to start the expansion because there terrible back end for the audio gamepack thing makes the audio on Nvidia graphics cards fucking die whenever you do anything
bro, gonna have to call you out on this one, do not compare anthem anywhere near this, anthem was an actual scam, there was no game there, xiv has content at the very least and the worse thing about it is the queues, not only was anthem bad at launch, it had more problems than this game will ever have even if there were thousands of people at launch, which there werent since the game was already dead on arrival. so HELL NO. there's virtually no problems when you compare endwalker launch to anthem hell even fallout 76 by that margin. bad comparison by miles chief. not to mention everyone knew this was going to happen, does it suck? yes, but EVERYONE knew that the outcome would be this. just gonna have to suck it up and wait couple more days til people start laying off.
I played the MSQ at my own pace so no rushing through the MSQ so don't rush take your time and enjoy the time you can get in but word of advice for short que times 7 a.m Central Time are non existent even on Gilgamesh and at night around 11 p.m que times are much better as well weekends seem to be around 8 a.m for a short que ai hope that this helps anyone who sees this ^^

I’ve noticed the queue kicking has gotten a lot better the past day or two
I've beaten the MSQ the 1 subscriber login privileges is pretty sick kids.
My biggest issue is that by the time I get home from work I have 4hrs to play, eat and do anything else before I need to log and get ready for bed. I'm spending 3+ hrs in the queue. With the queue the way it is there is no reason for me to try to get in during the week because my actual play time will be so short that it isn't worth the wait I had to endure. And the extra week of game time they gave us is almost pointless if you can't get in to even play the game.
Honestly because of the que times I've changed up my sleeping habits completely. Get home at 6 p.m. Shower and then go to bed and then I get up at 2 am so I can log in and play. Thank goodness the game is amazing (lvl 80 scholar finished with MSQ and lvl 76 sage) or I might've bounced. The worse is the fact you have to babysit the que. I sat in que for 2 hours, dozed off for 10 minutes and lost my spot in que.
I feel bad for both the players and the devs. I've been lucky and able to play without issue(90 SCH/SMN, Sage and Reaper leveling, MSQ finished), so it's sad to hear that so many people are unable to get in, especially since the expansion is incredible overall so the parts shortage on top of the boom in players hitting right at this time hurts because the frustration is justified but it's also not really the devs fault since they've been trying to expand servers since long before the boom and had to delay the new data center because they can't get the parts. It's no one's fault this happened, and everyone is just kinda stuck right now.

It seems as if some subscribers to FFXIV channels ASSUME that y’all aren’t having the same issues as everyone else. I’ve enjoyed watching your channel and hearing your passion. I’ll wait however long it takes to be able to enjoy your content. Play the game and enjoy it when you finally get to. We’ll be here when you’re ready to upload more content. Always bear in mind that it’s an amazing game, what we’ve seen so far is amazing, and it’ll still be amazing when we can all play. Thanks for all you do you for the community!

Yea I love FF14 and I am sure the expansion is great…however your brothers experience sounds identical to mine. I played for maybe 2 or 3 hrs on Friday during the afternoon. Since then, I have not been able to log on due to my time restrictions and not being able to constantly re-que for hours.
So I kind of gave up after my experience on Sunday, tried to log in had a queue of 5,500 players, left it running, had dinner, watch some videos, did some work, came back and it was at 2,400 (around 2 hrs later). Left and came back an hour later only to see a 2002 error with me being at 1290 players in que…. I clicked ok and tried to relog, but I could not get back into the queue due to multiple 2002 errors…after maybe 8th or 9th attempt I got back in queue….then I saw I was put back at 5,100 players in queue (it was like 9:30pm now)….like I just closed my eyes, shook my head and turned off my pc.
I will try again like next week or something I guess. Still love FF14 tho and the staff so no hate, I know they work very hard and this was not their intention, but I'm just sad I haven't been able to experience the launch as I was hoping to.

Man, waiting literal hours then getting a 90K in the first minute and having to restart the queue is super annoying. No, I'm not angry at any person or even SE, this isn't something they could have fully planned. But that doesn't make me less upset that I literally can't play despite that. Plus now I've started getting 5003 errors while in queue.
Hopefully some of this can be calmed somehow in the upcoming months. It's rough.

For those who don’t know!!! If you get the error 2002 message, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU’RE SCREWED!!! It means you have to race to get back into queue as fast as you can, because when you get error 2002 so do hundreds of other people. If you’re fast enough, you’ll get back to your spot or at the best of times, boot yourself up in queue by the hundreds. Sure, it makes logging in take like 90 mins lol, but isn’t that worth it for MSQ?
Yeah, I work 8 hr and get home with 4hr to play, if I did nothing else. So I work for 8hr, babysit a queue for 2hr and play for a little over an hour to 90min.

Not mad, really. It's a new expansion, server shortages with supply chain issues, I do get the situation.. I just really want to play and experience this masterpiece after a long day of work. /vent
the amount of times ive been booted from queues and then cant even reconnect to my DC or sat in 3+ hour queues just to be told that the world is full when the game is loading has made me want to just uninstall and unsub this is a joke and this is coming from someone whos already completed the MSQ and gotten my 3 main jobs to 90 i cant imagine what this must be like for someone with limited time to play
The reason why queue is so high is Bc 90% of us are afk in game also on day 1 early access there’s a trick to get in 🤠
i’m on ps4 and have had almost no problems. i feel like i’m the only patient person in the community right now. after that maintenance though things are much smoother but even still, i expected nothing different from an mmo release. especially with the constant player increase. i seriously think anthem was worse than this bro you must have forgot. anthem not only was one of the most anticipated games across the planet, it was probably the biggest let down tied with cyberpunk. all we are dealing with in ffxiv right now is long que times, which will go down before you know it. cheers, waiting for your thoughts on scholar’s new ability and why it’s objectively the best skill in the game.
