A relatively straight forward, but elusive fish, Cupfish is a cherished part of every fishers collection. Begin simply by casting your line out, catching and Surface Slapping whichever fish you catch first (unless itâs Cupfish, obviously). Once slapped, use Chum and cast out again. Only attempt to hook !!! bites. If you choose not the hook a fish or the fish gets away, then Surface Slap remains active. Continue to Chum and Cast until you catch Cupfish. Hi-cordials are highly recommended for more Chum use.

Just chum as much as you can, again, cordials (hi-cordials, ideally) will help!
Goodluck and Happy Fishing!

I really enjoy your videos. The style and presentation and simple explanations are super helpful. If you take requests, I'd love a video on any advice you have for Armor Fish. It's been a nightmare for me.
Love your videos, I just recently get into big fishing and now got all the ARR and most of HW big fishes. Would love to see you do Stethacanthus it seems a huge pain for most fishers.
… I can't believe that after 74 big fish I never thought of doing the surface slap after first catch thing… I combined it with ff14angler info to use it on the hole's most common fish and got it on the next catch, as if it was destiny. Thank you so much
