Ah, I got so excited for a second – this game has an arguably slow start, but as they all say, you either quit the game or you become a walking advert for the game haha
Regardless if this ever gets picked up again, I'm sure he'll be welcomed with open arms! The ffxiv community has got to be one of the most welcome communities I've personally seen, and it's certainly beside the Xenoblade series for me as my top fav games. Can't wait to enjoy this vod properly otherwise – it's always so fun seeing someone experience this game for the first time

Aw, i got so excited when i saw this upload. Hope he revisits 14 again at some point. Once you got through the starting slog, it's easily one of the best stories ever told in this medium

@3:12:00 The overlapping dialogue… Papalymo (the short guy) is talking into a Linkpearl (a communication device) in the background while Yda (the girl) is talking to you. Earlier before the instanced battle, Yda was going on a monologue that Papalymo was ignoring while he was talking to you. Anytime a character talks without a dialogue window, it's kind of a jest at them doing a long winded rant that nobody's listening to, OR, it's because they are talking in a linkpearl or having a conversation in the background.
Good lord, this is going to be a journey if you do this
This game has better characters then Cloud and Sephiroth combined.. Hope he continues this game.
