For some reason, the snapshot has been WAY worse for me this expansion, I have good internet, run at like 42 fps, but I can move out of a mechanic, cast a spell and STILL die to the mechanic. It's been driving me nuts lol.
I actually really love how they took the porcelain doll boss and made it into a (tougher) trash pack; little things like that not just as references but to show how far we've come

I love playing Black Mage, but i screw up the rotation every time. I will never learn. If i ever get the courage to do savages, i will stick with Summoner, Reaper and Viper, because i can actually do those properly. lmao

Summoner being reworked and not getting the additional summons completely turned me off from the job. It's already not super involved, it feels bad to play at lower levels, and it feels too repetitive at high levels. At least if the other summons were there it would be something different, even if they were mostly just reskins of the other three.

The net code in FFXI was so bad that initiating combat with a rabbit was nearly impossible. You’d pull out your weapon and be walking behind it, but your swing timer would always go off when the rabbit was out of range, so you’d run up next to the rabbit and somehow you were still out of range so you’d run ahead of the rabbit and try to turn around to catch the server tick on your swing counter, and you’d do this for three minutes. All while very dramatic battle music played. I’ll never forget the dramatic trumpets. Then you’d hit the rabbit but it’s a level higher than you so it whips out two moves and you’d die and level down and all your shiny new gear would fall off and you’d have to sell it to be able to afford the gear you just sold because you leveled. Ahhh the glory days.

Yeah Titan Ex back in the day was a pain with those plumes and yes I came from FF11😂
